Bio protection for cleaning

Have you noticed that after dish-washing and scrubbing your skin becomes white and almost lifeless? The heavy use of chemicals can make your hand look like saline soil: dry, chapped and full of cracks. If you use the finest velvety soft microfiber cloths for your furniture and floor, why would you treat your hands worse?

Keep your hands safe and protected

Applying handcream during cleaning is totally unnecessary. Slippery hands increase the risk of accidents and leave greasy stains everywhere. Instead, make a very simple, skincare liquid soap at home!

Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 2 to 3 drops of tea tree oil to 1 dl water. Tea tree oil is a natural disinfectant, while baking soda softens the skin. The next time you are washing the dishes, sprinkle a little baking soda on the sponge or into the water. In addition to degreasing and cleaning the dishes, you also protect your hands from drying out.

You can easily touch a hot pan and burn yourself while baking. If this happens, hold the injured limb under cold tap water for at least 3 minutes, then apply baking soda to cool the skin and reduce itching. You can even use this simple remedy in the pantry: keep insects and unwanted parasites away by spreading baking soda on their migration routes.
