Bright tiles

Bacteria and limescale are common enemies of the bathroom. Instead of harsh chemicals, try to use natural, more gentle materials. Mix two table spoons of baking soda, four teaspoons of borax and three tablespoons of vinegar in 5 liters of warm water to make an organic washing-up water for the bathroom. Allow the solution to stand for a few minutes and then use a microfiber cloth or SupraMOP to clean the tiles and stone tiles. This excellent home-made mixture is also a mild limescale remover.

Shining bathroom efficiently and gently

The most effective for removing stubborn limescale is concentrated vinegar. Apply vinegar to the limescale surface using a standard cloth or Uni cloth and leave to act for a few hours.

If you want to clean a vertical or hard-to-reach surface, mix the vinegar with a little flour, making this home-made wonder substance easier to stick to the scaly spot.

In wet rooms, such as the bathroom or even the kitchen, mold can easily appear. Once this has happened, use a tea tree oil fungicide! Mix a teaspoon of tea tree oil in two cups of water and pour it into a spray bottle. Shake the mixture well, then spray it onto the mold without rinsing. Repeating this process twice a week guarantees to remove mold within a few weeks.
